- I am a citizen journalist, writer, investor and caregiver. I am the sole caregiver for my mother; she suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Prior to moving to Delray Beach, Florida to take care of my mother I was CEO of a software development and marketing company based in Reston, Va. I worked in several Wall Street firms, venture capital and as a private investor. The companies included: Bear Stearns, Daiwa Securities America, Spencer Trask, and Salem Partners. My first career was in teaching at the University of Georgia and Philadelphia University. I have substantial corporate training, mentoring, and consulting experience.
